As a Character Artist at Ulysses Graphics, you’ll become part of a highly skilled team of artists who are making assets for the biggest publishers/developers on their most prestigious game titles.

Required skills and experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in the game industry
  • Modeling and texturing realistic characters and creatures
  • Strong experience with Zbrush
  • Strong experience with the process of generating assets from high poly to low poly (Creating normal maps, re-topology, optimized UVs unwrapping…)
  • Experience in creating textures in Photoshop and Substance Painter.
  • Experience in creating PBR materials.
  • Excellent understanding of the technical limitations of game art assets and art pipelines.
  • Good solid understanding of real-time graphics and have preferably worked on at least one released title.
  • Artistic skills, creative initiative, and flexibility to adapt to different styles
  • Have the ability to work in a team as well as independently, being able to communicate well, and having a proactive attitude is a must.
  • Experience with runtime engines
  • Capacity to adapt to a demanding workflow

Bonus Points:

  • Shipped 1+ AAA title as a Character Artist
  • Experience with Substance Designer
  • Fluent English

Contract Details:

  • Full time, an in-house position at our Studio in Kyiv, Ukraine.
  • Salary based on experience.
